We woke up this morning to see this on our deck! I don't remember this much snow since I was a kid. I know we were spoiled by living in southern Ontario for 6 years but I don't think NB has been hit this hard for many years!

Gingerbread House

Liz worked for nearly 3 hours Monday afternoon creating her 1st Gingerbread house. Then Hayden woke up and wanted his picture taken with it!

Halloween

Hayden had the same costume as last year since it still fit him, but he did look awfully cute in it and it was his first year "Trick or Treating". When he went to a house he either said "Trick" or "Treat" but not both words together. He seemed quite pleased when he got a treat but was ready to go home after only 5 houses!

An early goodbye

Early in the morning on Thursday (Sept 20), we took Kevin to the airport so that he could go back to live with his family in Korea. Here are a couple of shots from the airport -- with Kevin and his aunt after they made it through security clearance in Fredericton, and a very dark photo of the plan outside the window.

Trip to Halifax

We took a trip to Halifax at the end of August to visit the US consulate, so that Liz could get a travel visa. Kevin spent the night visiting a friend in Fredericton for our trip.

Here we are on the Metro ferry, we spent the night at a hotel in Dartmouth. It was a very foggy morning, and Hayden really didn't like the fog horn when it blew.

Hayden is going through this new phase where he doesn't want his picture taken. He often holds up his hand so that we can't take the picture!
Hayden didn't like Theodore Tugboat as much at this point as he did when a boat load of kids got off. Then he really wanted to get on.
